OnePlus 6T - All you need to Know
Sometimes people like me wish to buy a smartphone which do not cost as much as the premium devices like Apple's iPhone XS or Galaxy Note 9 and at the same time packs all the features of a Flagship Killer. Yes, it's possible. Though quite a few companies have now launched such devices but there's one name which will always come to your mind whenever you want to buy a smartphone, that is OnePlus.The company understood the need of its customers and over the years gave us amazing devices with great camera quality and processor and that to at a medium price range. I myself is a OnePlus 6 user and i know how amazing the device is. But today I will talk about the brand new OnePlus 6T which will be launched in India on 30th of October.
Display & Body
From the last week, OnePlus is teasing its customers with the pictures of the new, OnePlus 6T. Therefore, all the information is based on these pictures and leaked sources. OnePlus 6T will have an Optic Amoled display with 85% screen to body ratio. The device features a notch display but this time its very tiny and is called Water-Drop notch. The smartphone also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
It is supposed to have a Dual-sim setup with no extra space for memory card but there's no official confirmation on it. Like the other OnePlus devices, it'll have an Alert Slider to switch between different audio options. According to the sources, this time the 3.5 mm Headphone Jack has been removed and there's no information on whether we'll get a Type-C connector in the box or not. The device is supposed to have an In-display Fingerprint Scanner, which means this smartphone will come with a whole new level of security features.
Specifications
Like the previous devices, OnePlus 6T will also come with specifications similar to that of premium devices like Galaxy Note 9. The device will be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, an Octa-Core processor and Adreno 630 Graphic Processing Unit. At present, its the fastest processor. The device will run on Android P out of the box and will have latest Oxygen OS update and Security patch.
For security purposes, it will have an In-display fingerprint scanner and will also support Face Unlock. It is rumored that this device will be water & dust resistant and will have IP68 certification. Features like Gaming Mode, Reading Mode & NFC will enhance your smartphone experience. OnePlus 6T will also provide a number of other useful widgets which will help you in your day to day life.
Camera
Camera is one of the best features of these smartphones. Right now, there's no official information related to it but it is believed to have a Dual Camera setup (20 MP+16 MP) on the back. It will have a 16 MP f/2.0 front facing camera to fulfill your need of clicking selfies. You can record 2160 p video @60 fps, 1080 p videos @30,60,240 fps and 720 p videos @60, 480 fps. It supports Slow-Motion video recording @480 frames per second and comes with Portrait Mode.
Other Features
The device is supposed to have a 3300 mAh Li-Po battery and will come with Type-C cable and a Dash Charger for fast charging. The device will come in four colors namely Mirror Black, Midnight Black, Red and Silk White. It comes in three different variants which are 6 GB Ram/64 GB Rom, 8 GB Ram/128 GB Rom and 8 GB Ram/256 GB Rom.
Now, the price. Since, its a flagship and is packing a lot of expensive stuff it will be in the median price range. The lowest variant will cost you around 36,000 Indian Rupees and topmost variant will be around 45,000 Indian Rupees. All the things will become clear as crystal when the smartphone will come out in the coming week.
