Whenever it comes to budget smartphones, companies like Xiomi, Vivo, Oppo and Honor are offering better specs and quality in a small price range. These companies try to bring something new in every smartphone they launch, whether it's a budget one or a flagship. That's exactly the case again. Out of a number of budget smart phones, i'm going to talk about the brand new Realme 2 Pro. Realme is an extended branch of Oppo which became famous after the launch of Realme 1 earlier this year. Though we're living in the age of premium smart phones like Note 9, Oneplus 6 etc. yet this particular smartphone is experiencing a great hype because of its price and specifications.

Display & Build

Oppo Realme 2 Pro comes with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, measuring 6.3" in length and has 84% screen to body ratio. The device has a plastic build and comes with FHD display. This smartphone has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. The device has a dual sim setup and also supports memory card up to 256 GB. The company for now has retained the 3.5 mm Headphone jack along with active noise cancellation microphone.

Specifications

Oppo Realme 2 Pro runs on Android Oreo version 8.1, out of the box and operates on Color OS 5.2. It may get Android P update later this year. For better performance, the device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and has an Octa-Core processor. It works on Adreno 512 GPU (Graphic Processing Unit). A lot of you guys don't have any knowledge about some of the terms stated above but I can assure you that the above mentioned specs are amazing for a budget smartphone.

Camera

The device has a dual camera setup on the back with two lens, 16 MP(f/1.7) & 2 MP(1/2.8) and has LED flash. The camera also supports HDR, Panorama and slow motion video recording. You can also record 2160 p video @30 frames per second or 1080 p video @30 frames per second. But what about the front camera ??we all love to take selfies. It has a 16 MP(f/2.0) front facing camera which also supports HDR. You can also record 1080 p videos @30 frames per second using front facing camera.

For security & privacy reasons, it has a finger-print sensor on the back and may also come with face unlock. It has a non-removable 3500 mAh Li-Ion battery. You also get a 2 A/5 V 10 Watt Charger out of the box along with micro USB 2.0( USB on the go) cable for Charging. It comes in three different colors namely Ice Lake, Black Sea and Blue Ocean. The smartphone also comes in 4/6 GB RAM variants and 64 GB storage option.

At last the most important thing, the Price. Realme 2 Pro will cost between 14000-16000 Indian Rupees. Pretty impressive price range considering the specifications. Though there are a large number of devices available in the market but you must check out this one before making a final decision. Samsung Galaxy A9 - Four Rear Cameras We all know that Huawei P20 Pro had a triple camera setup on the back but this device has gone a step ahead. Its one of the most hyped smartphones of this year because of Quadruple Rear Camera setup.
